Shilpa's beau is co-producing her film

Shilpa Shetty has ambitious plans for 2008. Sources reveal the actress is all set to produce a big budget film with boyfriend Raj Kundra.

It is learnt that the movie will star Shilpa and she’s planning to rope in some Hollywood actors to do cameos.

Her own thing

A source reveals, “Shilpa was approached by a few corporate houses for a collaboration but she turned down the offers. She already has S2 Global Productions under which she released her Yoga DVD. But she plans to launch a sister concern to make movies, along with boyfriend Raj.”

It is learnt that Raj was the one who coaxed Shilpa to jointly produce the film. “She agreed right away. The project is now in its initial stages.” Nowadays, Shilpa is busy promoting her DVD and it’s Hindi version will be released soon.

A source close to the actress reveals, “Shilpa has been checking out the work of a lot of young directors and is quite impressed with Manish Jha who directed Matrubhoomi (and her DVD) She’s planning to ask him to direct. Her first film (as a producer) will be a woman-centric action comedy, with special effects. It is a two-heroine project.

Shilpa Shetty will play one role, while she is in talks with a few A-List Bollywood actresses for the second part. Cameras will roll as soon as the cast is in place.”
