Shilpa Shetty getting engaged on Saturday

It's happening tomorrow at his Juhuresidence. Apparently Raj popped the question to the Bollywood hottie who he hasbeen dating for some time, on Diwali. Saturday is an auspicious day according tothe Hindu calendar and the couple decided to go ahead with the engagement eventhough Shilpa's sister Shamita, who is in the Bigg Boss house, won'tbe present for the ceremony and celebration.

Manish Malhotra willdress up Shilpa in a saree while Raj, always a natty dresser, will get ready onhis own. His parents have flown down for the big day. The party is going to be avery private affair with only close friends and family members attending it.

Shilpa and Raj have been together ever since she stepped out of theUK reality show Big Brother and sought Raj's help to launch her perfumebrand. At that time, he had famously told BT tongue firmly in cheek, "It was the scent of Shilpa that attracted me to her." Now Raj intends movingbase to Mumbai for good because he wants Shilpa to continue her association withBollywood. "I have my own place in London but it's easier to findhouse help here. In the UK, you have to do everything yourself," he hadsaid.
